My future job

I'm a 18 year old boy, studying dentistry at the University of Chile. As you can guess I want to be a great dentist in the future. But the idea that I have about being a great dentist is not the conventional one, I mean, wanting to earn a lot of money and stuff like that. When I talk about being a great dentist I'm talking about being an honest, friendly and caring person with everyone, all kinds of patients. I want to be a dentist that people can trust.

I want to travel working to different places. For example, I really would like to go to rural places to know what actually dentistry is. I'm pretty sure that working on a clinic is not what dentistry is. In my opinion, the "truth" behind the chilean dental situation is not on the rich's mouths.

I think that working on rural places and wanting to be a friendly and honest person, probably will be very difficult. But I'm accepting the challenge.

As most of the people know, dentists don't have so many money problems, so I don't think that I will have problems traveling or buying the necessary materials. Also, I will probably have some money saved for this time.

If you are a dentist or a dentistry student, you should question why  you are working or studying this. People need us, and we need people, remember that.

My main hobbie

As you may know, I am a music lover. I really like to go to concerts, specially heavy music concerts, and listen music everywhere. But what I really like to do the most is playing music.

My favorite musical instrument is the guitar, and I like to play many kinds of music with it, including metal, rock, folk, funk, indie, etc. Even though I have an electric guitar and I like to play heavy music on it, I prefer the delicious sound that only a classical acoustic guitar can do. That's why I prefer the acoustic versions of many songs. An example would be like "Lovesong" by The Cure, or "L'échappée" by Les Discrets.

I play music on my acoustic guitar al least 5 times a week. Acoustic guitars have a great natural sound, based on the amazing resonance capacity that they have. And I think that  I'm not exaggerating when I say that classic guitars have the best sound among all the types of guitar that exist.

I think that playing guitar is a good way to enjoy the music meanwhile you relax,. Everyone should try to play guitar!

The best concert ever

First, you need to know that I'm a great music lover. For me, a day without music it's not a day.

If I have to choose the best concert that I've been to, I probably would choose the "Architects" concert that I had the pleasure to watch on may, 2012. Architects is a british band that plays a mix between metalcore and hardcore, perfect to mosh and hit some dudes directly in the face.

The concert was on the great Santiago de Chile, in Teatro Teletón. It was a really massive event, full of people wanting to hear one of the most outstanding metalcore bands. This event lasted 2 hours aprox. They played their most iconic songs, including the old ones like  "Heartless" and "North Lane", and a few new songs from their last album.

I went with one of my friends, and I met there some people that I knew from other metal concerts that I've been to.

Like I said before, events like this are special to mosh, run and maybe release some anger in form of flying fists while listening to the music. But not an ordinary music, I'm talking about melodies and rhythms full of energy that made this the best concert that I had the oportunity to watch and enjoy.

A country I'd like to visit

A country I'd like to visit is Australia. Yeah, the land of the kangaroos.

I'd like to visit this country located in Oceania, on the mighty Indico ocean. A great sandy island for sure, located at the south of the polynesian islands.

This island is mainly sand, but its charm is to be the home of a lot of the most dangerous existing creatures on Earth, like venomous snakes or great killer spiders, and I think that's really amazing.

If I would have the opportunity to be there, I would probably be traveling from city to city trying to watch the wild animals that are there. Probably I would see the most interesting and dangerous creatures from this planet, and I think I'm not exaggerating.

I think that if I would have the chance to study, work or live there, I wouldn't do it. That's because I don't like Australia's weather at all. Like I said before, the main reason to visit this country is to know the wildlife of the place, and maybe its flora.
